Let True North Show You The Way To Recovery

True North Recovery and Wellness Center is a fully licensed and accredited, full-service Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) which serves Utah county and surrounding areas for substance abuse and other harmful addictions.

At True North we utilize a highly personal and professional approach with our clients. We understand that when it comes to treating addiction, there is not a "one size fits all" approach. It is because of this that our staff is actively involved in the lives of our clients and their treatment. We believe that this method provides each client with the best chance to achieve total sobriety and break free from the chains of addiction. While our specialty is treating our patients utilizing medications such as Methadone, Suboxone, Vivitrol, etc., we also couple it individual and group therapy. We offer a number of different services and treatment approaches which depends on each client's specific needs.

If you or your loved one is interested in our services or you want to learn a little bit more about what we do and how we do it, please feel free to give us a call or stop by our clinic during our business hours. We will do our very best to address any questions or concerns you might have. We understand that there are many options when it comes to drug rehabilitation and also that the importance of finding a facility that you feel comfortable with and have confidence in, cannot be overstated. Our patients and their well-being is our number one priority, so if you feel that our approach is not the right one for you, we will help point you in the direction of something a little more fitting.

Thank you for visiting our website. We hope that you found it useful and some of your questions were answered. Again, please feel free to give us a call or stop in some time!

Our Services

Methadone Maintenance

Methadone is a medication used to help people reduce or quit heroin and other opiates. Anyone taking methadone to treat opioid addiction must receive the medication under the supervision of a physician. After a period of stability our clients may earn “take-homes” which will allow them to take their methadone home between program visits.

Buprenorphine (Suboxone)

Buprenorphine is the active ingredient in products such as Suboxone, Subutex etc. It is used to help people reduce or quit their use of heroin or other opiates. Medications such as buprenorphine, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, provide the best approach to the treatment of opioid dependency.

VIVITROL® (naltrexone for extended-release injectable suspension) is a non-addictive, once-monthly treatment proven to prevent relapse in opioid dependent patients when used with counseling following detoxification.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is one of the most commonly used options for addiction treatment.  Through the use of medications and therapy you can begin to heal from your opioid addiction in a way that allows you to have a strong, successful recovery.

Individual Therapy

Along with the medications we utilize at True North, individual therapy is an essential part of treatment. Individual therapy, group therapy, family counseling, and other therapy approaches can help people recovering from opioid addiction to stay clean.
